Because we believe passionately that classic cars should be used and seen on our roads, we are not shy of making them more practical by converting them to run on modern fuels.

The Environment. It is felt in some quarters that the classic car enthusiast cares more about originality than the environment. Whilst that may be true of some, it is not the case with us. We do not have any cars left that run on leaded petrol and have seen quite an increase in enquiries for conversions to LPG - 75% of the emissions of which water.

Unleaded. Now that classic owners have had time to adjust to unleaded, more and more owners are realising that their car can run on unleaded without modification. But where this is not possible, we recommend modifying the engine to accommodate it rather than trying to use additives. It also gives you an opportunity to look inside and see what state the motor really is in!

LPG. If the car can run on unleaded then it can run on LPG. Our experience of converting cars with carburettors shows that the engine (whilst mildly down in BHP terms) can actually run more smoothly and consistently. Plus, if you get the design of the installation right, you loose nothing in terms of luggage space, nothing in respect of the range of the car, but rather gain a car that can be even more economic to run than a modern.

Our Conversions. The quality of the conversion is all important if you are to choose this option, we strongly recommend seeking out a specialist with good quantifiable experience of classic cars. Even if you do not have one of our cars, we can help you with LPG. Our engineers have many years experience in this field and whilst we may not be the cheapest, we are specialists. It is hard to spot one of our conversions if you look in the engine bay or elsewhere, as much as is possible is tucked discreetly away from view
